Letter Tire GP
Any letter you type becomes a tire! A manga-style race to find which character runs fastest
AkaoGame No. 2 in my 100 phone games project is "Letter Tire GP" (文字タイヤGP). It's a race where your car's tires are any characters you like.
OnagaTires made of letters? Can tires that aren't round even roll?
AkaoThey really do. The shape of the character becomes the tire and rolls just the way it's shaped. Blocky characters bounce and rattle, round ones glide along.
OnagaSo just pick "〇" and you win, right?
AkaoOn the grass course it's pretty fast. But on the slippery rocks, characters with corners can catch on the ledges and climb better. You can use a different character on the front and back, and pick the tire size too.
OnagaThat's a mountain of combinations. Now I wanna try the characters in my own name.
AkaoThe car drives itself, and the only thing you press during the race is a single boost. Where you use it changes your time. Your best time is saved for each combination, so you keep going for one more run.
OnagaAlright, I'm gonna find the fastest character there is!

- Any character becomes a tireHiragana, kanji, letters, even symbols: the shape of the one character you type becomes the tire. Use different characters front and back, and change their size
- Auto drive, one boostThe car drives itself. All you press is one boost per race, and where you use it changes your time
- Find the fastest characterRound characters fly on the grass, pointy ones climb the rocks, and the seaside has long straights. Your best time is saved for every combination on all 3 courses
How to Play
Play in portrait on your phone with one thumb. On a PC, click with the mouse.
Please note
The tire shapes come from your device's font, so the same character can look and run a little differently on iPhone, Android and PC. Records are saved in your device's browser. The game itself is in Japanese.
