Reversi Game
A physics-based reversi where you drop Othello discs into a glass jar and stack them up! Sandwich touching lines to flip them, and try not to spill
AkaoGame number 22 is “Reversi Game”!
AkaoThis one is reversi, but there's no board. You drop Othello discs into a glass jar from above and stack them up.
OnagaDropping Othello discs into a jar? They'll never line up neatly like on a board, though.
AkaoRight, they roll with real physics, so things don't go as planned. But if your discs sandwich a straight line of touching rival discs, they flip. Diagonals count too.
OnagaIf a disc rolls in and lands a sandwich, that must feel great. Pulling it off on purpose would be even better.
AkaoEach disc is a different size, and spilling one or stacking too high is a violation. The first one is let off, but if your rival also violates on their next move, the game ends right there.
OnagaSo while I'm ahead, I could stack it high on purpose and end it? I love that kind of mind game!
AkaoYou can take turns with someone on the same PC, or play against the CPU. The CPU comes in weak, medium and strong.
OnagaThen I'll grab someone and try it with two players first. I'll show them how a pro handles a jar!

- Touching lines flipRival discs that touch in a straight line between your new disc and one of yours get flipped. Diagonals count, and a glowing line shows why
- Spill and it's a violationSpilling a disc or stacking too high is a violation. The first one is let off, but if your rival also violates on their next move, the game ends, and the color with more discs in the jar wins
- Two players or the CPUTake turns with a friend on the same PC, or play the CPU on weak, medium or strong, as black (first) or white (second)
